A few answers to your questions....
1. I am now about 16 weeks along....crazy. They say the due date is Sept 24, so it will be a long summer. :)
2. So far it's sucked. I've never been a sickly person, but man I have gone through about 3 cycles of a ridiculous chest cold that seems to last about two weeks, have been nauseous every morning for months, and have reflux like you wouldn't believe...all NOT super awesome.
3. Yes, in four weeks I will hopefully find out what the sex is....I am not down for the whole "surprise" aspect. I have names picked out already but I'm not telling.... so don't even try to find out. :)
Anyway....more updates to come I'm sure....

Oh I am so sorry you have been sick. UGGHHHHH. I can honestly say I know how you feel (having just been down that road myself). Best of luck to you!
Um i think everyone already knows be your child a boy or a girl it's going to be my name sake!!!! I mean come on Emily is totally a unisex name!!!! *Wink* *Wink*
Angie, this is amazing and crazy and awesome all at the same time. Hang in there - tummy sickness should be easing soon, though the reflux may stick around. I ended up on prescrip acid blockers, which were AWESOME!
there are LOTS of reflux meds that are safe to take preggie.... prilosec otc, tums with calcium (that calcium also helps with the leg cramps) and my fave was a prescription for one called Protonics.... the BEST!!! but, according to my mom, heartburn and reflux means a baby with lots of hair!
finally the illusive due date. Yeah...perfect time to have a baby...I love fall babies.
I agree, fall babies are the best. I had one in Sept and it isn't as bad as you think. A perfect end to summer.
I loathe, I mean really loathe, acid reflux. Get some meds, they help so much.
First and foremost...CONGRATS! And yay! second trimester! You will start to have more energy soon.
I have to agree with Piper and Melanie. I had really bad acid reflux with Bella and she was born with a head full of auburn hair!
Also, my oldest was a fall baby and I think it is better for when they start school. They are a little older and more socially ready. (Just my thoughts)
Thanks for updating us!!!
I also agree. Marlee was born Sept. 21 and I thought it was a great time of year! Plus, it was nice to be able to go swimming and be weightless all summer!! = ) Good luck, hope you start to feel better.
Just for the record, my acid reflux ended with a totally bald baby - still just wishy hair at 9 months! On the other hand, Owen did end up with his own wicked acid reflux, so maybe there's a connection. I think you should hope for the full head of hair over a baby that vomits all the time. =)
Congrats Ang! You are almost over the worst of the nauseousness. Carry giant tubs of tums every where you go. My latest baby was born Sept. 26th. Target has some great maternity capri's. I sat in the backyard in the kiddie pool a lot of the summer, I feel your overly warm summer pain. And you are about to the stage where you will feel the baby move-I love that stage!
Angie.. if you can wait until the 30th of September the baby can share a birthday with Bryce, and if he comes two days earlier then I can share the birthday. Hope you are feeling better!
