I have a picture of my mother on a shelf in my entertainment center. I have never discussed with Q who this is a picture of and she has never asked. I guess I was waiting until she was older and able to comprehend...and I think I would cry to much.
Yesterday, as we were standing by the door ready to leave, Q picks up the picture frame and says "this is my grandma", with the biggest smile on her face. I looked at her. slightly confused, but with a smile and said "yes it is Q, and she loves you". It was all I could muster.
