Someday, everything is gonna be smooth like a rhapsody, when I paint my masterpiece

I like being crafty, but I don't like having to think of what to make.
Thank you Pinterest for helping me.

I have been getting my craft on. Its been a nice distraction from the everyday routine. Plus it gives me a sense of accomplishment and pride.

My first project:
I painted these frames for Q's room to hang her school artwork. I need to make a few more to fill up the space (or add something else to this wall as well...I'm thinking about silhouettes) But Q loves pointing out her stuff, and it makes the house feel less messy.

Last year Emily, Q, and I painted pumpkins for halloween instead of carving (the inside of pumpkins grosses me out). So this year I took it up a notch. I got these ideas from pinterest, and did what i could. Q thought they were awesome. I was pretty happy with the outcome.

Yep, that's Mike Wasowski

Next, Kimmie and I got together and made yarn wreaths for fall. I loved how mine turned out, and am now addicted to them. I already have my ideas for my winter, christmas, easter, and 4th of july ones.

And here it is on my door....love it.

Here is my fall/Halloween festive entrance.

Now since Q's hair styles mostly consist of headbands and flowers I thought I should try my hand at making my own flowers. So once again with the help of PInterest and my own skill and imagination I came up with these.

I love them and they look super cute in Q's hair.

Yeah for being crafty!!
