Then Labor Day came and went And we shed what was left of our summer skin

I think it's so funny that we start school, have a few days, and then break for labor day. Growing up, school always started after labor day. It was a clear end to summer with a new beginning of the school season.  But it was nice to spend some time with Kim and Elsie and hang out. We went for a bike ride near their house and it was such a great day. I even rode a bike, something I haven't done in YEARS! But I didn't fall, and actually quite liked it, and will probably buy my own little cruiser bike some time.

On another break from school, we hit up the Museum of Natural Curiosity at Thanksgiving Point. We had heard such good things about it, and it did not disappoint! It was so fun. The girls had a blast and so did Kim and I. There was so much to see, and do, and learn. It was awesome!

wind tunnel awesomeness

when moving this sand around it would create mountains, and water

making the girls learn about energy

can't go wrong with some props, camera, and script

They had this cool room with digital instruments to play. The girls were laying down some sick beats

we made the girls go in the dark maze by themselves....it was hilarious to watch on the screen. Here Q is asking for help! haha

Q wasn't too sure about this rope bridge...but she did it.
