every rose has it's thorn....

My 2008 year in review through pictures.

JANUARY:
Home is where the heart is?

FEBRUARY:
Escaping the realities of my life at the happiest place on earth.

MARCH:
The beginning of the end

APRIL:
Beautiful days in beautiful places

MAY:
A new little girl was coming as two ladies were leaving the nest

JUNE:
My mother passed away....and the family stood together

JULY:
Summer days spent with the family...

AUGUST:
A reunion, a celebration, and a new lawn

SEPTEMBER:
A labor of love

OCTOBER:
A month old, a sister moves away, and we return to work

NOVEMBER:
Two months old and a time for thanks, reflection, and dance?

DECEMBER:
Times passes by and the year comes to a close

In the movie "clerks" my favorite scene involves the two main characters, Dante and Randal, discussing the Star Wars trilogy. Dante's reasoning for liking Empire better than Jedi pretty much sums up my feelings for 2008 (well except for one little...or I guess big gift)

"Empire had the better ending.
I mean, Luke gets his hand cut off, finds out Vader's his father,
Han gets frozen and taken away by Boba Fett.
It ends on such a down note.
I mean, that's what life is, a series of down endings.
All Jedi had was a bunch of Muppets."

Here's hoping 2009 is a better year!

Good summary of the year. I think 2009 will be a good year. To quote Jared..."It can't get any worse than last year."

You had a crazy year...so much change, ups and downs. It made me cry to look at your pictures. A mother lost, a mother made. I love you Angie.
