It's a beautiful day...

On Q's birthday, I took the day off and spent the day doing everything that she enjoys.
When she woke in the morning, I had her presents waiting for her to open.

She was so excited.

She got a box of dress-up clothes, which she instantly had to put on. It's so funny how children know what to do with stuff.

She picked out the microphone from the box, and started singing all around the house...how do they know these things?

When she put on the shoes, bracelets, and rings, and picked up her baby and purse and wanted to "go", I knew the present was hit.

She was so fascinated by the sound the shoes made on the floor, she kept dancing around with them on.

I also got her some tools, which she instantly used to work on her "wall project".

For her special day,
We watched some movies

visited the park, where she played and ran around for awhile

visited the horses, played on the swings, and rode her bike around the driveway.

We also walked down to get the mail, where She discovered a card for her from Kimmy, Aaron, and Elsie. Qiana was so excited to carry up the letter all the way to house.  And then, when I let her hold the check inside, when even more excited!

Then, when it was pajama time I let her put on her new slippers...she thought she was so cool.

It was a great day, and a great way to celebrate my little girl.
